dj lethal skillz

DJ Lethal Skillz is a Lebanese DJ, turntablist, producer, and cultural archivist widely regarded as one of the pioneering figures of Arab hip-hop. Active since the early 1990s, he helped establish turntablism as a serious art form in the region and became a founding force behind 961 Underground, the collective that brought together Lebanese MCs, DJs, b-boys, graffiti artists, producers, and promoters around a shared hip-hop identity.
Raised in Beirut, he developed his craft during the formative years of Lebanon’s hip-hop scene and has since used DJing, production, radio, workshops, and live events to document and grow the culture. His work has connected artists across Lebanon, MENA, and the diaspora, while his releases, including New World Disorder and Karmageddon, have featured key voices from the Arab hip-hop movement. He continues to perform, produce, teach, and preserve the history of Lebanese and Arab hip-hop between Beirut and Kuala Lumpur.
