DEEP

Using the moniker Deep, he is a Palestinian-Syrian rap artist from Yarmouk Camp. His life has been shaped by war and forced displacement, growing up across many places, each one leaving its mark on his identity and his art.

He began his rap journey in 2017, with his music closely tied to the Palestinian cause from the very start. His first performance took place at an event organized in support of Palestine, setting the foundation for rap to become his space for expression, identity, and purpose.

In 2023, Deep began sharing his work more widely across social media. Around the same time, he and his brother Jabal founded Al-Masna’a (“The Factory”), an independent creative production studio built from the ground up. They started with virtually nothing; today, they have built a space, a voice, and a growing presence of their own within the scene.

Through both his music and Al-Masna’a, Deep aims to approach rap differently, creating ideas, sounds, and a distinct atmosphere that reflect their experience and feel true to who they are.

And the journey is still going.
