lo.renzo

Lo.Renzo is the project of Italian musician Lorenzo Mantovani, a producer, multi-instrumentalist, DJ, and music therapist whose work connects electronic production with organic instrumentation. With formal guitar training from the Academy of Modern Music, he creates atmospheric soundscapes that move between global bass, ethno-fusion, dream & bass, and psychedelic downtempo.
Active since 2014, Lo.Renzo has developed a distinctive sound centered on the expressive voice of the sarangi, blending it with instruments and musical influences from across the world. His music balances detailed rhythm, warm texture, and a deep sensitivity to emotion and atmosphere.
Since 2020, he has also collaborated with Bilad El‑Sham on projects including Manda and Yalalalli, bringing his melodic and textural production approach into the collective’s cross-cultural musical world. Alongside his original releases, he has worked as a remixer and session musician with artists including Mose and Kaya Project. Through his production, live instrumentation, and therapeutic approach to sound, Lo.Renzo continues to build music that is immersive, reflective, and globally connected.
