Merry, known artistically as Merry From Another Side, is a Syrian rapper from Al-Areed, Tartus. Her music reflects the contrast between the calm, cherished version of herself known at home and the strong, direct character shaped by growing up in a working-class neighborhood.

She began writing rap lyrics around five years ago after discovering that hip-hop was the art form closest to her, one that speaks honestly, confronts reality without embellishment, and gives voice to lived experience. Her style is rooted in her personal journey and the awareness shaped by life in a country marked by ongoing hardship.

Merry aims to establish herself as a true star within the music scene and as one of the distinctive female voices representing her generation and its reality with honesty.
